Hi folks,
I just bought a TV tuner card (Leadtek winfast TV2000 expert) and it works great with MC.
Now I fire up MC in theater view, hook up my big Sony TV, grab the remote controller and sit down in the lounge with a glass of my favourite beverage (1/3 guava juice, 1/3 orange, 1/3 Clement white rum, half pressed lemon and 2 drops of angostura bitters).
I start watching TV and feels like recording what I'm seeing, no problem, I navigate to the 'Record TV' button and here we go.
But, now that the recording has finished and I want to show it to my friend who just joined me, how can I get access to it ? Is there an easy way to playback a just recorded TV program in theater view ? I may have missed something as I'm a bit new with the TV features in MC.
It sure lies in the directory I selected for TV recording but I need to go back to MC full view and do an import of the file so it is accessible through the video section in MC
Wouldn't it be nice to have it auto imported inside MC library upon the completion of the recording ?
thanks for any advice on the matter.
:)

The recorded video is not imported. Not in current version. Maybe in the future.

i solved this problem with a little *.bat file
containing
DIR D:\Videorecording\ /B /S > D:\Docs\importmc\import.m3u
C:\WINDOWS\system32mjextman.exe /SilentImport "D:\Docs\importmc\import.m3u"
run batfile...the files will get imported

Hi,
thanks guys, I think it'll make the TV xperience thru MC a lot better if this becomes available in a future release.
Thanks for the tip Lasse Lus but this bat file, or script, needs to be run prior launching MC or is there a way to run a bat file from within MC in theater view ?
Yaobing, if someone is maintaining a list of working TV tuner card, you can add the leadtek TV2000 expert to the list. It's using the latest TV chip from connexant.
thanks,
C.

hi, i have assigned a button on my remote to launch the batfile, and you can be inside MC when you import your videos, so it's sort of a autoimportfunction.
it works very well, though i have not tested it with a lot of files and it does not work with special characters like swedish "ö" for instance

TV Recording can be automatically imported in the latest build.
