Title: Discussion on other topics?

MC admin,
I am wondering if you would be interested in creating a new section for discussions on other topics especially softwares here.

Since this forum has a record # of visitiors, i think it would be beneficial to the people (sort of coming to one place to get all). (maybe attract more visitiors who never heard about MC but heard about this topic discussion and maybe they will buy MC)

but it might not be beneficial to MC interms of bandwith, etc.....

Could still be focused on media - it would just be a nice place to put all those "Off Topic" threads, so if you wanted to discuss the fact that some warez servers had been raided, or you wanted to show off your great new home theatre setup, you could - without cluttering the actual support forum.

sounds good to me...makes sense to keep all the OT stuff together...just like devices has the "other hardware" section.

I am not sure why this is not supported. MC admin could well utilize this to attract more visitors and customers.

All these different builds of theirs are happening because of knowledge sharing and bug finding. Won't this also help lot of people if there is way to share stuff?

anyway, it was my 2 cents.

Well, the proportion of off-topic stuff here is minimal. At least, compared to other forums I know. I think we are ok.
