I know this is a noob question, but I disabled autorun for cd burning, and I was wondering how do you reenable it?
-
Do this in reverse:
Windows XP - Solution 1
1.) Right-click on the drive icon for your CD drive, CD recorder, or DVD drive, and select Properties.
2.) Choose the AutoPlay tab, and choose the desired action for each type of CD. For example, choose Music CD, then click Select an action to perform, then select Take no action or delete the "Play" action.
Windows XP - Solution 2
Obtain and install TweakUI (part of the PowerToys for Windows XP package), and then start TweakUI.
Expand the My Computer branch, then the AutoPlay branch, and then select Drives.
Turn off the checkbox next to each drive letter for which you want AutoPlay disabled.

Thanks, but it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem. I appreciate the help. Does anyone know if it can be done through MC?
-
Bump. Anyone?
-
No it can't.
imjustagamer's solution should work.
How did you disable autorun in the first place?
-
I had the Creative Disc Detector installed some time ago, before I got my new motherboard... Is it possible that this control panel application could be interfering? Unfortunately, I cannot test this anymore.

Autoplay has been disabled, to re-enable it run regedit.exe, browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom and make sure Autorun has a value of 1, then restart.
