I use loweright. I fint it very convenient. I used to use the playing now plugin, but this is a lot more convenient because it is always available, and gives you access to the controls without using much screen space at all. Kudos to Z-rocker and DWex!

personnaly i've been using LowerRight for about a year...
Today i'm using NoFrills (but i modified it a bit)...
MiniMe -in my opinion- shoud remain as basic as possible...

What i would really appreciate is something like what Windows MediaPlayer 9 does, meaning : included in the taskbar.
That would be great!

To answer the question the default minime skins are a little  too "messy" (to me)...

Well, geez, the results speak for themselves. Noone likes those skins so far, :(

Lower Right is nice, but it does have some issues ... such as not seeming to remember the last used state (hidden palettes etc.)

For what it i worth, I think that mny of the 'mini'-me skins are not exactly mini - more maxi.

The skin I love is Caliber, small enough not to obscure any real estate but giving all the basic functionality that I need, although I would love it to give a better indication of the tracks duration (time remaining rather than time elapsed perhaps ... )

That might be because the "No comment. I have no use for them." option is missing.
Though I would like to see a ThunderStorm mini view skin. ::)

The only miniskin that I use on a regular basis is Lowerright.

I think is better to suppress miniview functionality than mantain current skins.
