Hey there,
I'm note sure of the correct wording for this so it may already exist or someone may have asked for it but here goes:
Is it possible to have a single song file that has more than one album tag attached to it. I have recorded all my CD collection onto my PC and like to listen to the recordings in the order they were on CD. This becomes a problem when I record a compilation CD as many of my songs are now doubled up wasting disk space.
I have created playlists for each album in the past but this got very tedious very quickly.
Cheers

This has been requested before.
I believe it is on the To Do list but necessarily being worked on now.
I'm not speaking for J River of course, just my guess from what I've read...
You can do some searches on the boards and you should find some threads that discuss this.

I just came here to post the exact same question/request, after looking at my library and viewing all of the duplicates from multiple albums. This would be a very helpful function.

That's not the point. I just added my 5th harddrive, a SATA 270 GB, which brought me up to 750 GB. So I'm not hurting for harddrive space. I still agree with Bob that it would be a nice feature.

Create a new custom, semicolon delimited field and use it in all your view schemes/smartlists/playlists instead of the normal album field.
