Title: MC-compatible version of APE

Is there a version of the standalone Monkeys Audio that will decompress APE files created with MC?  3.97 doesn't work with it, and from what I've read 3.98 is only an Alpha, so I'm reluctant to try it, and not even sure it will work.  Can anyone (Matt especially) provide some insight here?

MC has been using 3.98 for a long time.  The algorithm side of 3.98 is totally stable, so there's nothing to worry about.

Hopefully I'll be able to get 3.99 out some time to clear up a little of the confusion.

Cool - thanks for clearing that up.  I'll check out 3.98 and see if that does the trick.
