hi guys, would need help:
i would like to copy (rip) mixes cds (dj sets or similar). therefore there should be no cuts between the tracks. is there any possibility with media jukebox?
i also would like to record playlists by crossfading the tracks. is that possible with the recorder tool and how?
thanx for any helping answers

Easily done during playback, but it won't do custom fades and such on burning. If time is on your side then you could use an advanced wave editor to do the fades before burning.

If you ripped to wave or ape format, you can burn CD's without "cuts" between the tracks as long as you have the "use generic drive" option unchecked in the cd writer options. MP3 and other formats may add a tiny amount of silence to the end of the track so this wouldn't be possible with these formats.
As far as crossfading burned CD's, with version 8 you have to use the "diskwriter" playback output option. Do a search of this forum on "diskwriter" and you should find directions for how to do this. Version 9 of MJ can cross fade burned CD's on the fly, but it's still in early beta testing so unless you don't mind dealing with bugs, you may want to wait a while before trying it.
