I am using Media Center 9.1 and I would like to reinstall it. On the download page I find only MC 10.0. Where can I find MC 9.1 to download?
Thanks,
Negopus

I read that you had the plugin problem. It should help if you uninstall and re-install. Make a library backup before.
You can find the 9.1 by reading this: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=21011 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=21011).
In my opinion you really should upgrade to v.10. It's already much better than 9.1 was ever and they are developing it all the time. The upgrade offer is only $9.98. (I don't know how long, it has been there for some time now.)
P.S. Especially if you like to see those new shortcuts/icons added. ;)

Matthew,
I just wanted to direct negopus to that thread because it was JimH there giving the link.
I understand that JRiver is not very anxious to encourage people to stay with v.9.x for obvious reasons. Of course they need more sales all the time to keep the good work going on. Ten bucks is not much for supporting that. We v.10 users know that it's the best that money can buy.
In this case negopus also showed interest to new features in another thread. If added, that will be to v.10.
P.S. The latest bug fixed version was 9.139, not 9.136.

Matthew,
Did you delete your post here? Or was it the Moderator?
I guess that I must delete mine too. Otherwise it may look strange.

Hmm.
Actually you have this: ftp://ftp.spartasoft.com/Programs%20I%20Use/MediaCenter91315.exe (ftp://ftp.spartasoft.com/Programs%20I%20Use/MediaCenter91315.exe).
JRiver have this: ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/MediaCenter91319.exe (ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/MediaCenter91319.exe).

I wish I could find a solution for the plugin problem without reinstalling, because I am afraid to loose my configuration. My Media Center is not customized too much, so I could reconfigure it quickly, however, it would be annoying to start it all over again.
What about the registration? Does is stay in the Windows registry, so it is not lost when unistalling/reinstalling?
-
Just make the library backup before uninstall. All playlist etc. should be there when you restore the library to the clean install of MC. Maybe you have to do your options again.
As far as I know, the registration should be there as well. Otherwise you have to go to the Restore page. I have never done uninstall myself. Can somebody confirm this?

I downloaded Media Center 9.1.319 and rudely installed it on top of the previous version. Now the output plugin is back, and the configuration was preserved.
I don't know, however, if this (installing on top of old version) is the correct way of upgrading Media Center.
-
It's alright. I have done it many times with other software. Sometimes it doesn't help because the problem configuration is preserved.
Now, when you have the good old v.9.1 working again, you could try the even better v.10, if you have not done it yet. Sooner or later you may upgrade anyway. The special upgrade offer is soon over, I think. You can always go back if you don't like it. :)

I haven't tried MC 10.0 yet because I was not sure if I could go back to 9.1.
I registered 8.0, so the price for the upgrade is higher.
-
In that case the price is now $14.98. I paid it.
Yes, you can go back. There is no difference in the library structure. Of cource you should also keep a backup of your previous library. Your registration is preserved in the Windows registry (I have read that here) and you can always go to the Restore page if something happens.
