Title: Question about default Cover Art
Post by: Ken Brookings on May 01, 2004, 08:54:51 pm
Whenever I import a file for which MC cannot find Cover Art it automatically inserts a certain Dixie Chicks album cover.  Is there a default cover art file that has somehow become this Dixie Chicks album cover, or is this a nasty trick from MC penalizing me for complaining about things over the years?

Seriously, how do I get rid of this very unwanted "feature".  Its been doing this for many, many versions.
Ken

What's wrong with the Dixie Chicks? Thanks for giving me the best laugh today.

Seriously, I would like to help, but I don't know how to. Do ever see this:

I think it should be the default art, but not for cover art. Cover art should be empty if there is none.  It's visible in some track info templates if there is no cover art.

No don't see the MC logo as the default cover; only Dixie Chicks; does this mean that Jim and the MC gang are democrats?

 ;D

Anybody knows how the default art is handled inside MC?

Did you try unistall/reinstall? (library backup > uninstall MC > reinstall MC > library restore).

Where are you seeing this? Is it in thumbnail view, track info page or during visualisations? Also, is there anything in the Image File field?
As far as I can see, the default images are here
C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center\Data\Default Art
but there are different ones depending on the way you are viewing.

Thanks for the help; the Dixie Chicks cover art shows up in Thumbnail view; also shows in image in file properties.  All inserted automatically when a file is imported.
