Title: Somebody Please answer this simple question.

I have ran all of those A-whatever tests and I do not know if this CD rom drive will burn CD's. There is a window that pops up when I try to burn that says Error: Unable to find any CD-R/W devices.  Im sitting in front of the computer and i know it has a CD drive. I just dont know if it is the right kind.  Someone please help

what model is the drive and who makes it?

A CD-drive is not enough to burn CD's - it's only purpose is reading cd-rom or CDA.

In order to burn, you need an other device, called CD-Writer, wich you don't seem to have.

Thats what went through my head too. I instantly checked to see if he was a forum admin.

Appears not so I'd love to see the trick of deleting the topic :)
