Does this still happen?  I can't reproduce it.

Anyone else?

Thanks for any more details.

Yeah, it's still happening. I did a clean install of 10.0.141 tonight. When I first started MC, Auto size columns was unchecked, Ignore articles was checked (however, it appears that they were being ignored anyway) and Allow auto size to cut off long values was unchecked.

I then enabled Auto size columns, disabled Ignore articles and left Allow auto size to cut off long values disabled. I clicked OK to close Options, then closed MC. I restarted MC and went to Options. Now Auto size columns is still enabled (which is good :) ), but Ignore articles is enabled (even though I disabled it) and I can't turn it off and Allow auto size to cut off long values is enabled (even though I never turned it on) and I can't turn it off. I can disable Auto size columns, but Allow auto size to cut off long values is still enabled.

Also I am still seeing columns like File Type, Track #, Date (album), Bitrate taking more space than they need. Weirdly though, in the Filename column, some very long filenames are being fully displayed, yet some song titles are being cut off in the (track) Name column.
