Title: Program to open MJ

 :( I opened MJ under the wrong program.  What program do I use and how do I change the program?  I am running Windows 98. Hope someone can help.

Not really sure what you mean by "opened MJ under the wrong program".  MJ is it's own program, you don't need another program to open it....

Downloaded MJ to desktop. When I clicked on it the program window popped up with "what program do you wish to open with".  Used Windows Media Player.  This does not work and I don't know how to fix it.  Deleted MJ and downloaded again, and it automatically went to Media player.  I think I should have used Adaptec, is this correct?  Very new to computers.

That sounds like maybe you changed the name of the file you downloaded.  It should have a .exe extension and then Windows will just run it without asking any questions.  That will then install MJ.

Try using IE (Internet Explorer) to download.  Then choose "Open".

To JimH.  Thank you for your reply, do you mean delete MJ and download it again then OPEN, not save?

If you're using IE, just click on this link

ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/MediaJukebox8.exe

and the download of the MediaJukebox.exe file should start automaticaly.

Once the file is on your HDD, double-click it and there you are with the installation !
