Most of my coverart is courtsey of Windows Media or Media Center automatically downloading it. I have it stored inside the MP3 file. Looks great for thumbnails and thats about it.
I would like to upgrade it to better quality stuff. I have been thinking about the best way to do this....? But with it being internal I am not sure where to begin. Some of my music is more obscure and I had to scan those covers in and I don't want to that again..
So, how can I automate this, automatically replacing existing cover art with better cover art but erasing existing cover art? King, will your plugin work?

King, will your plugin work?
Don't know, try it And MC's Art finder in MC10 i think they fixed a few bugs a few weeks\month etc... ago.

Mike, if I remember correctly, you select all files, click on the Action window, find "cover art" and deselect "store cover art in files when possible". Then it will move all cover art to the cover art directory. I'm afraid you'll have problems finding anything that gives you good cover art automatically. I have tried everything, from the built in search via King's plug-in and to "Gotcha Covered", but none of them gave me good enough cover art (that is cover art that looks good in an 800x600 NetRemote CCF. So I downlolad it manually or scan it myself. Wehere I find them I can't tell you about here, since MC has a no piracy policy.

Most of Standard Large Art is 500x500 Or 300x300
The smallest I found is 45x45
Normal Small Is 60x60

I generally get my cover art from Amazon.com. Make sure you select "see larger picture", and copy the image to your clipboard. I'm pretty sure it's legal to use the cover art as long as you actually own the album (falls under the "fair use" category, you've already purchased a copy of the cover art).

With a little searching on the internet, you can find sites that have quite high quality scans of cover art that look very nice.
I frequently use:
http://images.google.com/ (http://images.google.com/)
to find cover art.
Does anyone know whether there are any plans to support multiple cover art images w/i MC? The tag is labeled as "Cover Art (front):"
I'd love to have the front cover, inside booklet and back cover associated with the files.
Thanks,
kiwi
