Hi Media Center Team,
I have some problems upgrading my MC9 license to MC10 :(.
About 1 and half year ago I bought an MJ8 license. Some weeks later I upgraded this license to MC9 for 7.98 $.
Now I want to upgrade my license to MC10. Refering to your upgrade information I thought, that I had to pay 9.98$. But the upgrade page always wants me to pay 14.98.
Can someone please tell me, why this happens?

You have your version 8 license installed. To fix this, go to the restore page, and restore your version 9 license (it begins with the letter W instead of F) and then start the purchase.

I had to pay 14.98 for a MC9.0 -> MC10 upgrade (no problem with that) but is all the price confusion from the fact that JimH said in his original announcement that:
If you already own an MC 9.1 license, you can upgrade to 10.0 for $9.98 USD
Media Jukebox 8 owners can upgrade to Media Center 10 for $14.98 USD
in http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=20009 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=20009)
from that i assumed the MC9.0 licence counts as a MJ8 for upgrade purposes, but the http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/buy_faq10.html (http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/buy_faq10.html) page doesn't make the distinction between MC9.0 or MC9.1. Perhaps this is why people complaining about failing to upgarde MC9 for $9.98 keeps cropping up.
Hope this helps,
Cheers, JJ

Hi JJ,
You paid $9.98 for your upgrade from MC9 to MC10 back in the beginning of April.

Hi Media Center Team,
I looked into the registration information of my MC9 and there was written, that I had the correct license key installed (beginning with the letter "W"). But when I tried to update, the problem was still there. Reinstalling Media Center 9 und the key didnīt solve the problem.
Then I realized that my old registration key (beginning with an "F") was submitted to your server, when I clicked the purchase-button in MC10. So I simply changed the registration key in the internet link to my new one starting with an "W" and everything worked fine. I only had to pay the 9.98 to update to MC10. ;D
I hope this description helps the team and others to solve similiar problems.

Hi Korbinian,
Glad you got it figured out. I don't know what happened, it shouldn't work that way. I'll fix it.
