Title: The process line
Post by: Niba on May 14, 2004, 02:31:43 pm
Insted of having  the logo of media center and the in the process line it would be nice to have the current song playing, so when you minimize media center you can still follow what is playing. Does anybody know if this is possible ? :)

There's a third party plugin doing this. Check the 1st thread in the 3rd party plugins forum. I think it called write playing or something similar.

There's also PlayingNow by RhinoBingo which popup a small windows, or a bigger if you prefer, which you can configure in any way you want. It's pretty nifty.

If you're talking about the Taskbar, you should have a look at the "WritePlaying" Plugin.

"...WritePlaying can also change Media Center's Title Bar to display the currently playing track......Why would you want to change Media Center's Title Bar? So you can read what's playing on the Windows Taskbar without switching to Media Center (like Winamp)...."

hi...I have the "write playing' plug in (from the plug in- page) , and that shows the songs that are currently playing when MC is minimized - just be sure to check the "show in MC title bar box  ;D
