Here's a feature suggestion I'd like. I would think it's very simple to incorporate.
When you hover your mouse over most programs in the task bar it pops up the name of the document/sheet/mail/website etc that is open (if there's only one). Could this be done with Media Center to display what is currently playing. I'd find this really usefull, so that I could have a quick glance at what I'm listening to without switching to Media Center.
What do you think?

It's already there.
Go to Tools -> Options -> General
Check "Minimize to system tray"
And that's it.
When you hover your mouse over the Media Center icon you'll get a tooltip with the info of the current song.
If you want something more sophisticated, such as cover art, graphical rating and much more, may I suggest that you take a look at the "Playing Now" plug-in developed by Rhino, available in the plug-ins page.
