Has any consideration been given to being able to control MC using a web browser ?
I would use such a feature in the following way.
My media PC is in the lounge and is connected to an amp. The amp is connected to amps and speakers in other rooms of the house. Currently I can have the same music playing in three rooms simultaneously.
If MC support control via the web then I would be able to 'dj' from anywhere in range of the wireless network using a laptop or better still a PocketPC.
I'm sure that there are uses of such a feature - any suggestions ?

Eh...is this humour? ? That function has been there as long as I have been with MC/MJB. It's in something called remoteserver.dll. Under Options/Startup Options you specify that it should run on startup and what port.Then you simply connect to http://192.168.0.x:8080 (if you're on the 0 series, if not use 1.x or even 10.10.10.x) and play. But there is a much better solution: http://www.netremote.org (http://www.netremote.org)

That really depends. When did you ever see a lord wipe his nose on his own? ;) But to be truthful that distinction is different in my native languague, norwegian. We say some thing that can be loosely translated to "snotty stuck-up", and that's sort of the queen of England times three.
