Post by: mikeadapted on May 27, 2004, 02:17:44 pm
Trying to install the paid version after the 30-day trial resluts in this messagebox

error opening file: c:\documents and Settings\local settings\Temporary Internet Files\content.IE5\OPYN8563\media%20Center10-42207[1].mjr

Thank you for the attempt but it did not do the trick. I continue to get the message that my license file has expired, do I want to restore from registration code. That leads to a repetition of events.

If you'll check the FAQ, available at:

ttp://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/purchase.html

You'll see that license files are only good for 14 days. Visit the restore page and get a new license file.

If you've got a license file from the past 14 days that still doesn't work, check your system clock.

BY the way, someone needs to hone the bad-language-replacement algorithm for this forum.

I will leave out any sarcasm or other frustration artifacts. Your suggestion regarding th the FAQ did not work.

I have repeatedly gone to the restore page and had a license file sent. Now they are apparently used up.

Please advise.

What browser are u using when you are visiting the restore page?

It would be best if you are using IE, as it will just installed the license for you on the spot.
If you are using other browsers, they will most probably prompt you to save the license file somewhere before you can run it.

Did you check your system clock? Sounds like it is set to the wrong time.
