Does anyone know if it is possible to create a calculated field which returns the number of tracks on an album, and if so, how?

Not possible.  Calculated fields are used to concatenate 2 or more fields and display them as one e.g. [Album] - [Year]

Thanks for the reply.  I guess the feature I'm talking about requires mathematical functions; what are the chances of that happening?  It would be very handy for some of the album-based functions a lot of people (including me  ;D) have been asking about, like average ratings and genres for albums...
