Title: why isnt it possible to have diffrent thumbnail size in each scheme??
Post by: zeltak on June 01, 2004, 03:48:01 am
hi guys!

i am adding in new schemes and ive noticed something strange...there is a save this view for this location option that lets you save the list type, sorting etc...but when i try to save a large thumbnail view in one scheme and another thumnail view (lets say medium) in another scheme it changes all the thumbnail views in all scheme...why does mc behave that way and is there a way to have diffrent thumbail size view for each individual scheme?

thx alot

Bump?  BUMP?  Geez, it's only been two weeks.  Have some patience!

 :P

(j/k of course)

Maybe it's a global option. <shrug> I suppose it would nice if they would make it a local option, as in "per view" option, but since they are busy now with MC 11 and also busy rewriting the internal database, odds are slim that they will update MC 10 with any new features.

Be sure to request this feature for MC 11!  (I think there is a thread somewhere about MC 11 requested features.)

This WOULD be nice ...

My prime example:  I have a huge picture collection that I like to browse through .. but when PLAYING the pictures, I would like to be able to have TINY thumbnails below the main window .. just enough to know what the pic is ... but not the HUGE thumbnails that I use to brose my library ..

I have wondered this myself as it would be nice to have this as an option.
