Title: new installation key

I'm unsure what you mean when you say I have only two weeks to use the
installation key. What happens if I need to reinstall or install on another
computer after that date?
I used the key but I'm not sure if it upgraded the trail version I was using
or whether I need to do another complete download of the programme.

you must get a new key after 14 days from the restore page, the answers you seek are in the FAQ.

you can get 10 keys each year.
