Title: Hoping against Hope: Question about SKINS

Hi all,

I quit using Media Center back when it went into "forced skiining" and I am checking in after quite sometime with the hopes that the newer versions have returned that magnificent option to turn skins 100% off.

Can someone please let me know?

I don't know what you dislike about skins, but you should check out some of the development that's been going on. Some of the new skins are really, really good - one looks like Windows XP, another all black. Not a huge performance penalty either.
