Title: Custom view schemes are missing
Post by: MattM on June 07, 2004, 02:33:27 pm
I opened up MC today and all of my custom view schemes were gone.  Where did they go?  I'm running version 10.0.145.  I assume this has to be a bug.

Doubtful that it's a bug.  Are you using the same library?

yes, I'm using the same library.  I created multiple view schemes over the past 2 weeks.  When I opened up MC they were all gone. I've tried closing MC and reopening. I've tried switching between libraries but the view schemes seem to be gone.  The only thing I haven't tried is a complete reboot.  I understand the skepticism about this not being a bug but there is no other explanation.

Did you use the right click option called "Reset all view schemes to default."

No...The first thing I did when I opened MC was change the startup screen to Media Library.  When navigating later I noticed that the view schemes were gone.

Did you open the library on a different computer or with a different user account?
Because i think the view schemes are stored in the registry under HKCU and not together with the library.
If you open the library with a dirrent user you don't see any view specific things.
