Hello, fellow MC10ers...
I upgraded from 9 to 10 the other day... did a clean install, even! I'm running the Media Server with the TiVio HMO.
Now I'm getting a weird messgage when I access hotmail... A popup comes up titled:
Please Update Media Center Library... and it lists the ads that come in the webpage. How do I get rid of that?
thanks, y'all...

I don't think that's an MC message. Some kind of popup stopper installed? ?

Hey Jim,
It's not a IE Window. It's definately related to Media Server...
here's a screenshot from within Hotmail. And it only pops up when running media server (see tray icon lower right)

Choose another port besides 80 for media server.
Also, check your HOSTS file and remove bogus entries that map valid domain names to 127.0.0.1

Take a close look at the URL in your browser. Some evil program has modified it.
-
that was photoshop... I blocked out the full url... ;)

I'm STILL having a problem with this... can anyone lend a hand? Here's an updated screenshot of what the Media Server looks like...

Thanks in advance, guys. I love MC10 (and I loved MC9) and have never had this problem before... It's driving me crazzzzy!

i have seen this before.
