Title: Finding duplicates
Post by: cascius on June 10, 2004, 02:00:17 pm
Hi guys, I was wondering what's the best way (or what are the different ways) to find duplicate mp3s. I know there's supposed to be a find duplicate plug-in, but I couldn't find it... :( Also, KingSparta mentioned it never worked very well....

So what are my oiptions?

What I'm trying to achieve is to merge 2 big libraries of mine. Both have around 10k songs of which 75% are the same songs. Something to consider is that I have spent a lot of time updating the tags of one of the libraries and not the other. So I'd like to avoid deleting the wrong files and losing some precious information.

Anyway, any tips or tricks are much welcome,

-Cascius
