In another thread about smartlists, SteveG wrote:
How about this.....
1) Create a smartlist for all files with duplicates [Name],[Artist],[Album],etc.
2) Create another smartlist with a rule to add files not in the smartlist created in step 1 and of filetype ape.
Now; I'm trying create two lists, and then make a third list which returns only the files which are common to both lists... Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks in advance...

Sorry about the thread title - I figured I'd have to do something special to get peoples attention with all the version 11 stuff on the board!
The problem with that practice is that you sometimes anger people by misleading them--no one likes to feel like a fool--so instead of getting helpful replies, you either get flamed or simply ignored. ;) :P

Well it's not as if I lied!
It IS a bit of a brain-strainer, because the easiest way to do it would be if smartlists supported mathematic functions, but they don't; you'd have to understand smartlist functions very well to know if there is another way to do what I want...
That said, I apologise if I've annoyed anyone, and especially if I've made anyone feel like I fooled them. The title has been modified...

It's actually simple:
1) Add Rule -> Playlist
2) Choose the playlists
3) Pick "Include (matches all)" from the "Do what with selections" area

Wow! Now I feel like a fool! I never even noticed that function... Thanks a lot Matt, that's going to make a huge difference to me, believe it or not!
