Title: Upgrade from version 8
Post by: Peter0105 on June 12, 2004, 09:01:28 am
What is foreseen for updates from Media Jukebox version 8 to Media Center version 10? I purchased version 8 last May, not knowing that there was even a version 10. However, I see no mention for the purchase of an update on the website.

If you look here
http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/buy_faq10.html
You'll see that you can upgrade from 8 to 10 for $14.98

Thank you for the reply , folks. I can see now that I can indeed upgrade, which is good. However it will cost me about $10 compared to purchasing directly Media Center 10 and I DID search for update before within the JukeBox 8 version. There was no mention of subsquent version, nor could I find any on the web page at the time :-( So I feel a bit flooded because it was not really my fault not to find the new version. OTOH I am glad there exists such a great update and that I won't have to re-purchase the full version.

It would be great however if people in my case who purchased jukebox 8 after the release of Media 10 and who were not properly informed would benefit of an upgrade for the difference of price between the two programmes.
