Before I purchase MC , what remote controls are compatible with MC ?

Can I associate MC to another DVD Software to play my DVD ?

MC will use the codecs of other DVD software but you can playback DVD's from within MC.

On the subject of remote controls you could check out the coolest remote control of them all at http://www.netremote.org/

This software (along with other components depending on your set up) will enable you to control most things on your PC and also other AV equipment around your home all from the touch screen of a hand held pocket PC.  It is tightly integrated with MC.
