Title: How do I define this for my playlist??

Since I installed SP2 for Windows my computer doesn't recognize my external firewire drive where I keep many of my mp3's.  I love to creative random playlist with certain modifiers to keep music in the background while working....but now I'd like to do this without using mp3's in my library on this hard drive (since now more than 1/2 the playlist appears with X).  I look through the rules and modifiers and don't see how to limit where these mp3's are chosen from.  Is this possible?  
I'm deciding whether to uninstall SP2 or just wait until final is released and hoping this problem will be corrected.  For now I don't want to re-do my library.
