Title: Displaying Notes in Visualizations

Is there a way to store a Note for particular song externally instead of as a TAG?

Use Tools>Options>Tree & View>Add to create a custom field.  Uncheck the box for 'store inside files if possible' and the data will only be stored in the MC database - not in the ID3 tag.  If you take this approach makre sure you take regular back ups of your library.
