Well that's the extent of my useless knowledge... :)
If it were me, I would try reinstalling my drivers and then hard booting (Shutting computer off for 30 seconds)
Sorry can't be more help.
-
I tried reinstalling My drivers and vice versa and no results. My CD-Roms don't appear anywhere
-
check the cable. it's a windows or hardware error.
-
I cant open this computer. Im not a mechanic but, the CD-roms do work. I think it might be a windows error.

Matthew
Have you installed any software lately? Especially CD related software?
-
yes i have I upgraded my Easy CD Creator to 6
-
That is most likely your problem, get rid of easy cd creator and use nero 6 it is a much much much better program for burning and related tasks.
-
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Easy CD Creator 6 but still no CD-roms appear in "My Computer" or anywhere
-
Try visiting the Roxio support site for a fix - disappearing drives are a common problem with CD software.
-
marko, I tried your reg hack no success.
Sauzee, I tried going to roxio's site but they dont even talk about missing CD-rom drives in there FAQ.
-
If you have any virtual CD drives get rid of them - that's caused me this problem before
-

You should check the Roxio web site for any patches to the Easy CD 6 software.
