Hi All,
Just download the demo for MC 10. I am trying the Theater View and had 2 questions:
1) Is there another skin other than :Acoa (brown one)
2) There doesn't seem to be any display options, when I select display option all I get is to "go back" is there another option that I have to install?
Thanks for the help,
Kevin

Right-click on Theater View and pick "Configure Theater View" to choose skins.

Display options show up when there is a display for files that are playing. (so they're empty if playback is stopped)
Thanks Kevin.

Thanks Matt, that worked great!
Also, are there any tools to create custom Theater Views - i.e. backgrounds etc or to add data - i.e. the current zone that is playing?
Again, thanks for your help

There aren't any tools, but skins are in the [MC]\FullSkins folder. Make a copy of one and edit main.xml. It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

Is there a list somewhere of the "special" text we can have in Theater View? For example, I tried to replace "[Time]" with "[Zone]" and this did not work.
-
Thanks again Matt,
The editing is going well, just one more question...is there a variable that I can use like the [TIME] variable to display the current zone? I also use netremote and in the app I use MP.Zone to pull zone info - just wondering if there was anything like that I could use in Theater View.
Thanks for your help!

Gee, great question. What am I invisible? :'(
-
Still wondering about the above question that cncb and I have about "special" text/parameters that we may be able to insert into the main.xml - for instance [zone] to display the current zone.
Thanks

Are we to believe that no one knows the answer to this simple question?? It makes multi-zone operation somewhat useless if I can't tell what zone I'm controlling in Theater View...
-
Can someone at JRiver please answer this?? I am afraid I will have to look to something other than Media Center for multi-zone playback since there is currently no way of telling what zone I'm controlling in Theater View. Thanks.

The next build of MC 11 will add [Zone]. (along with the existing [Time] and [Location])
If your thread doesn't get answered, please just give it a simple bump.
Thanks.

Ok, thanks. If you look above we tried to "bump" it twice. Since it was going to be ignored the third time, I had to resort to begging...
