...... to make the action window go away and leave me alone forever?

I have no use for it, but it just keeps popping up, obscuring my view ........

Surely there must be some way?

The only way is if you double click the Border that seperates the tree from the panes, Then it will be gone,

However, so will the tree...

Seems like it shouldn't be too big of a deal.......

I'm sure for those who use it it's a great feature, but for me, the action window is just an annoying space stealer, like a popup.

I really love this software, I have happily used 9 for quite a while, but over time, small annoyances grow into major irritation. Such is the case with this action window for me.

I will happily buy version 10 if someone tells me 'We see how what you want is good, and we will do it in an update to version 10'.

Since we're on the top of minor irritations, i wonder if it would be possible to get Filename to auto-resize on dbl-clicking at the edge where it borders another column title.

Would save on dragging the border to the end x times to see the whole filename.

This "feature" has been on request for a long time as far as i can tell.

You can minimize the Action Window using the minimize button in the top right corner.

Since many MC tools are in the Action Window, it can not be completely removed.
