MC 10.0.149
I have noticed that handling of CD Labels (Title of CD) in MC is rather unpredictable.
Often MC doesn't recognize CD Label so I just edyt it manualy (F2)
I do backup my mp3 colection to CD's and aperantly i have created a coaster called mp3cd16
Than I created an OK CD and I Label it "mp3cd16".
After I import it to MC it's label is recognized by MC as "mp3cd16 (1)" !!!!!
There is NO WAY to manualy change it's label to PROPER one "mp3cd16"
It seems to me that MC remembers in it's database unique label of CD and associated name and does not allow to change it.
Is there a way to solve this?
Sorry for this chaotic description of problem but this is best I can do at the moment. If further details are needed let me know.
TIA

Windows XP shows CORRECT label of CD.
MC somehows reserve label in it's database and does NOT allow to reuse it :(

In MC, go into Media Library/Advanced/CD&DVD and rename the CD.

How do we find this ?

Make sure your media mode is "All Media" (View->Media Mode). Once you have this selected, "Advanced" will show up as one of the entries under the Media Library list.
