Hey gang,
Due to all the recent security problems with IE, I have decided to move over to Firefox.
The probem is, ever since I installed Firefox, when I open it (Firefox, that is), I get this error window.

I've seen it before (before I installed Firefox), but it was rare and I just ignored it. Now it's happening all the time. Does it have someting to do with Firefox trying to suppress the ad on the top of Interact? I'm pretty sure that Firefox is not set up to block ads in web pages, but I can't be sure, because I'm relatively new to it. I don't see the ad any more at the top of the forum.
I tried updating my library, as the window suggests, but it didn't do anything. My info is below; I also have Media Server running.
Thanks,
crow

Not much help here, crow...but I've never seen this from FireBird/Fox (or any other app) going back 2 years or more. Did you use the installer version of FF? May not matter...something else is going on.

edit: ... and I didn't detect any errors on your hard disk...

if media server is running
turn off media server, it will stop
-
Switch Media Server to a different port (not 80).
I can't recommend changing your hosts files to map domain names you don't want to visit to localhost (127.0.0.1). There are other ways to accomplish the same thing without breaking DNS.
