Title: Too many thumbnails!!!
Post by: TimB on July 02, 2004, 01:33:36 pm
Help!

At some point in the past few months I did something inside MC10 that generated a huge number of thumbnail files (like tens of thousands of them).  I want to stop it without losing the cover art that I've patiently scanned in over the past 18 months.

So:

Is there a directory or directories than I can safely trash to dump these thumbnails and not lose my cover art.

Is there a setting I need to change to prevent a reoccurence?

Thanks! :)

Tools -> Options
Tree & View -> Thumbnails -> Thumbnail Maintenance -> Erase All Thumbnails...

This will erase your thumbnails without touching the scanned image files. Navigation will be a bit slower as they will be rebuilt on demand
