I am in the process of re-installing my main PC, and am moving to MC 10 in the process. I have installed 10 and restored my v9 media library from a backup. Everything is working fine, so I clicked the "Buy" option from inside the program. It is only giving me the option to pay full price. How do I get the upgrade discount?

*Install 9.1.xx
*Restore License
*Ensure that it is now registered
Install v10 over top
Click Buy, It will now see your 9 lic and give you the upgrade.

That is a royal pain, no way to get the upgrade price on a clean install? I don't like installing/uninstalling/installing software like that - that is how Windows OS gets clogged up and needs a reinstall to begin with.

No other way that I know of...

Well that did the trick, not my ideal solution but thanks for the help. A couple of observations for anyone else in the same boat:
First - after uninstalling MC10 (not deleteing libraries) and re-installing 9, the splash screens all indiacted that 10 was installed. In reality, 9 was installed and whenever exact version number was shown is was 9.x.
Second - I didn't lose my media library in the process of unsintalling 10, installing 9, registering it, and re-installing 10. I would still back it up just in case though.
