Title: Hissing noise
Post by: viva on July 19, 2003, 04:59:42 pm
I need advice on the following please:
1) recording from line-in gives me very high hissing sound. It is not due to my sound card, since i used other software before (already expired, that's why I bought MJ 8.0).
2) how can i minimize the hissing sound during recording?
3) how can I suppress hissing wav files onto MP3 or onto CD, without re-recording?

well if it is not other inputs, there is a [advanced] button on windows Xp that will increase the mic 20db

maybe selecting it and then attempt a recording may or maynot render a better sound.

other than muting devices and that, don't know.
