The new hh_portable.dll (which fixes the problem with Audible files not playing after a new sync) has apparently broken the ability for the iPod to remember Audible file bookmarks across new syncs. Before now, Audible files that were already on the iPod when a new sync was done would retain their position after the sync. With this new dll, all the Audible files start back at the beginning of the track -- i.e. the bookmarks are lost even though the file was not re-written to the iPod.
This is an absolutely necessary feature when dealing with long (8 or 10 hour) programs because it can be practically impossible to find your place again "manually." This was never a problem with MC-iPod syncs before now.
The temporary workaround is to go back to version 145 (or 147 I believe.)
Thanks for looking into this,
Larry

Larry,
Ran out of time today. I will look into this soon.

Thanks Steve.
Just to let you know, I tried it on both iPods and they both exhibit the same behavior, so it's not just a fluke.

Larry,
This is fixed. I will post it tomorrow.

Thanks again Steve -- I'll watch for a new dll (or will this be a whole new MC version?)

Larry,
Please get the latest Portable Drive plugin for MC 10 from here....
http://accessories.musicex.com/mediacenter/accessories.php
It should be version 9.0.126.
Thanks,
Steve

Thanks -- I'll let you know how it goes. For anyone who might be looking for this plugin, be sure to select "10.0" for the "Media Center Version" in the upper left of the download page. At first I couldn't figure out why the version I was getting was 9.0.89, but then I discovered that I was looking at version "9.1" downloads.

Steve,
The 9.0.126 portable drive plugin fixed this issue -- my Audible file bookmarks are once again remaining across new syncs.
Thanks again for fixing these recent Audible/iPod issues,
Larry
