Title: Media Center won't start

Hi there.
When i start Media Center 10 (10.149 and now also 10.150)
i get the splash screen and then nothing !
It HAS worked for some time with 10.149 but suddenly it doesn't
The process runs (checked it in Task Manager) and if I
kill the process and start over the same thing happens.
I seem to remember having the same problem a while back with
version 9.
A clean install works, but it would be nice to know why this happens.
Anyone else seen this happening ??

I had that exact same problem but it was v11 and the thumbnail directory. Maybe something got corrupt. I know by renaming that directory it made MC start right up.

Do you have a lot of thumnails? Maybe it's something else.

Are you sure it's not running minimised to the System Tray?

yes I'm sure ... it's not in the tray.
hm well .. reinstalled MC and it runs smoothly
for now, but it would be nice to know what happened.
Any tips as to what I can do next time so I keep my
settings and library and so on. I did a lot of customization
that worked fine  - for a while at least - and it's lost now :-(

If you're just re-installing, customization won't be lost.  Don't uninstall.
