;DHello,
In my country a national television station, is annoucing a home page for broadband users to broadcast old television programs and shows. The home page's name is Globo Media Center.

Is Media Center a trade mark of JRiver? ?
-
No, I seriously doubt it.
If it were, JRiver and Microsoft would be in court right now. ;) (Microsoft Windows XP Media Center (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/default.mspx))
(Neither company was the first to use the term "Media Center" for their product. I don't know who the first was, but I still have Jasc's Media Center Plus on my bookshelf. and I must have purchased that thing about 5 years ago, and that was Version 3! (They no longer make that product anymore though, but they still seem to maintain the url: http://www.mediacenterplus.com (http://www.mediacenterplus.com).)

The software is called 'JRiver Media Center' not Media Center.

Not the most catchy name, is it? ;)
