Title: MC11 can't analyze AAC files?

I just tried to analyze a few AAC (m4a) files and MC errors out on them.  I then tried to convert them to APE and MC couldn't.  However, they do play...

Are they from the itunes store?

I believe the DRM prevents everything but playing and transfering to ipod.

No, they were files from a concert that were originally in flac format.  A friend converted them to AAC before giving them to me for some reason.  dBPowerAmp was able to convert them to APE so I could analyze them, but obviously they are huge now (relatively).. (I don't know what program he used to convert them to m4a... maybe iTunes?)

Not a big deal really, I don't have any other AAC files and I don't plan on getting any.

bjsolem is correct, MC cannot analyze or convert AAC.
