Title: OT: Looking for an Eric Burdon album cover
Post by: modelmaker on July 25, 2004, 06:28:04 pm
I am looking for cover art for an album called "Eric V Burdon's Fire Department - Last Drive". The album is from the early '80's and is one of Eric Burdon's blues band incarnations.

I have searched everywhere I can think of with no luck. I recently transferred the album from a dbx reel to reel tape to wav&mp3 and it sounds great playing in MC, but it would be nice to have the cover art for it.

Any help would be appreciated.

That's closer than I've gotten! That's the cover for the 45 off of the album - it'll have to do for now.

Thanks bebop. :)

you're welcome...I noticed that it was released in Germany...maybe a fellow MC user from Germany can find the Lp cover.  Bet  :)

It is on the same site. You just have to dig deeper:

Excellent!!

I knew my people here at MC would be able to help me. This one's been naggin' at me for a while.

I'll have to come up with a tougher one next time! ;D

BTW, I bought the album in Germany, taped and mistakenly sold it when I had to lighten my load before shipping my stuff back to the US - LPs are heavy and expensive to ship.

So, thanks again guys.
