I'm a very proud user of MC10, but for the life of me I cannot seem to burn a CD. From a playlist I have dragged the list to "drop file here" and clicked burn but my recordable drive "E" always comes up saying "No recordable disk in drive "E". It's not the Sony CD-R audio disk I'm using...so what could be the problem? I even tried it using Windows Real Media Player and my old Musicmatch Jukebox, which is still loaded on my computer. Is there somewhere I have to indicate to my computer to burn CDs using only MC10???
I have not burned a CD in about 6 mos and that was with Musicmatch Jukebox.
Any help would be appreciated.

Look in your system tray and make sure there is no other software taking control of your CD drive.
Try uninstalling your CD drive via device manager (windows will reinstall it on reboot).

When I was having problems getting the PC to recognize when I inserted a disk, the Autofix program from Microsoft helped.
You can download it from

I tried (thanks Bullishdad & JLee) what you suggested and Drive E is still not recognizing my blank CD in the drive. Something so easy is so frustrating. Uninstalled, rebooted twice, & autofix found a problem but could not fix it. By having Musicmatch jukebox & windows media real player have anything to do with it? Do I have to configure MC10 to work with it.?
