Title: Check for Updates?

Is there a reason that my "Check for Updates" in MC Version 10.0.149 does not see a newer version (10.0.155)?

Are the versions of MC 10 posted on this forum unstable?  Are they ok to install?

The majority of them are ok... JRiver likes to keep them there for a few weeks to ensure that there are no problems with them...

You can read the thread and cjoose for yourself if you want to install it... I haven't heard anything major about it.

I think this Q&A should be made into a sticky.   ::)   It has got to be one of the most asked questions since the official release of MC 10.

It does raise the question, though, as to why JRiver is so reluctant to release any official patches.  ?

"Check for Updates" only works on the last version that J River thinks is the most stable.

I always manually download and install the latest and greatest, but out of curiosity, does anyone know how many "updates" have been officially deemed stable since MC 10's release?

would not even have a guess, Like You I don't use the option

if there was a crunch for space this is one I could see in the file 13

but since all users do not spend every waking hour in the forum maybe we should leave it how it is.
