Title: Total recorder -- Anyone got it to split files with MC?

I'm looking at purchasing Total Recorder, but I've noticed that its file split / naming function depends upon songs being specified in the taskbar entry of the program playing the song.  MusicMatch does this, but Media Center does not.

1) Is there any way to get MC to display the song title/artist in the XP taskbar?
2) If not, are there workarounds to get MC to work nicely with TR?

The WritePlaying plugin will do this for you, but it might not update fast enough for identifying track splits.  I'm not sure what you are looking for specifically, but if it's to record streams, RipCast does a good job of naming and splitting.
