Hello.
I have problems with amount of restores left for products registration.
Now I have licenses for two products by JRiver
By May 2004 I possessed: 2 restores left for MJ8;
13 restores left for MC10.
The other day I was browsing interact forum and saw two topics casting the problems with restoration license.
Then I wanted to verify my restores. When I sent my email address to the restoration service, I got the following answer:
"Here are the Registration Codes associated with your email address:
Media Center 10: 9 restores left
Media Jukebox 8: no restores." ?
So, I want to ask - Where are the lost restores? :-\
During this period (May-August) I did not personally use these restores and didn't receive messages on email about using any of them.
If I want to restore MJ8 what must I do? >:(
What can I do with that?

There was a bug in the restore counter, recently fixed. Only 10 restores per year are allowed for MJ and MC.

Possibly in MC10 it was a bug.
But in MJ8 (When I purchased this product) I had only 10 restores and now I lost last of them. And I did not use these restores and didn't receive messages on email about using any of them.

Try checking again. You are now OK.
A few times in the past, the children of our customers have share Registration Codes with their friends.

I have the same complaint,
I never got to use my restores, and they didn't work!
I was supposed to have mjb 10 and it's giving me 8!
I paid for this and can't get it again.
I had to reboot my computer because of some other problems, and now every email I send I get a reply of here are your coded and copy and paste this url in internet explorer,
but when I do I just get a big nothing.
I think I would like my money back, but when I send and email about that alls I get back is:::
You have 10 restores left?
I wonder.
I thought it was a cool program, but whith all these problems, when Media Player does basically the same thing with free upgrades, (Especially if it came with your computer), I am not sure if this is worth it??
I guess now I will get a reply of You have 9 restores left?

Our records show only a version 8 license.
If you think you purchased something else, please find the e-mail receipt and send it to me.
It is very common that people think they have purchased a license for a version because it once worked. In your case, a version 8 license works with Media Center 9 but not with MC 10.

Well could you send me a link to restore this mjb, because it doesn't want to restore when I put the link, and the restore code in in internet explorer...
After the open box comes up and I click on it, it just goes right back to that same open box.
I tried everything it says and I am still seeing this same problem???
I don't know quite what to do next.
So there is my problem.

Are you using Media Jukebox 8? Is it the latest? 8.0.400?

I am pretty sure it's Media Jukebox 8.
I don't understand why it's doing that.

Copy your system info from MJ Help and paste it here so we know what you're working with.
