Title: How do I play Divx files ?

I still have very little knowledge of video files, so maybe this is a dumb question.
I have downloaded a concert movie in divx.avi format, but MC does only play the sound. I suppose I have to have a divx codec as well. Is that right and if so what is the best place to find it, respectively what is the best codec to use, preferrably free ? And how do I install it ?
I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Hhmm, maybe http://www.divx.com/ would be a good place to start. They do have a free version of the codec available for download.
