Title: re use of ipod

i used mc to upload songs to ipod that i gave to my daughter[2yrs ago]She had a friend put some songs on it but does not know what program they used [she said the also lost some].can i still connect to my computer [still have all songs on file in mc] and download to ipod

You can still connect and transfer songs to iPod. It is possible that whatever program your daughter's friend used may have made the files on iPod unrecognizable to MC. If that is the case and you want to get the files off of iPod and not lose them, you can copy the files from iPod to your PC using Windows Explorer and then import the files into MC.
