Title: replay info in version 11.0.53
Post by: yorri on August 15, 2004, 05:43:29 pm
I just installed version 11 and found that it does not recognize the replay gain information that MP3gain put into my mp3s.  Is this a flaw or do I need to do another step to import this information?

I also notice that when I try to analyze a track it says it at 0% and just sits there...then it says it's in queue.  I hope this is because I am working with the alpha version.

I ripped a cd to monkey audio format and MC was able to determine the replay information.

My next question I guess is that when I look at the data in foobar2000, the fields it is looking for are not there...then when I look in the properties I see that Media Center is using the following fields labeled:

Peak Level
Replay Gain (Radio)

The other 2 fields appear to not be in the file itself.

Since Foobar recognizes the information that mp3gain wrote into the file, Which program is following the proposed standard?

This is so frustrating to understand.  Anyone have any insights on this?
